RUNNING COACH

COACHING

This is for you if:

  • You’re chasing a specific goal, anywhere from 5K to marathon

  • You can run 5–6 days a week, even around a busy life

  • You’ll stick to the plan and tell me when something needs to change

It’s not for you if you’re looking for a shortcut or a low-mileage plan.

Effort based. Data informed. Human led.

Good coaching isn't complicated, but it is personal.

It starts with you: where you're at now, what you're chasing and the reality of your week. I build the plan around your life as it actually is, not an ideal version of it, and adapt when life genuinely calls for it. Consistency is what makes the difference, so we protect it at all costs.

Effort based: I want you to understand how training should feel, not just what the watch says. Prescribed paces are a guide, but learning to run by the correct effort is what allows you to get the most from the good days and rein it in on the days that don’t go so well.

Data informed: Your training data shows us what's working and what isn't. I use it to make training specific to you and to make informed decisions, but the data serves our training - it doesn't run the show.

Human led: Behind all of it is a person - someone who understands you, your goals and what's going on in your week, who's on the end of a message when you need them, and who keeps you honest, patient and moving in the right direction.

RESULTS

Abdul: 3 PBs this year · marathon 3:45 → 3:08 · half marathon 1:28 → 1:23

“I no longer had to think about what sessions I needed to do or how I should structure my training, everything was already planned and programmed for me… Lewis showed me that training isn’t about smashing every single session or constantly pushing your body to its limit… I genuinely don’t think I would have achieved the results I have this year without Lewis in my corner.” – Abdul

“I’m really serious about my running goals, so Lewis has been the perfect coach for me. His coaching is intentional, fresh, and incredibly well thought out, but I appreciate being able to have a joke with him too. I love being pushed to my limits, and Lewis has a great balance of being data-driven while still understanding the human side of performance. He knows when to push, when to listen, and how to get the best out of you without losing sight of the person behind the numbers.” – Kalia

“It’s amazing having a coach who cares as deeply as you do about your own goals, progression and wellness. For me it’s meant a plan that’s actually specific to my needs, returning from injury and a lifestyle that isn’t regular and involves a lot of travel. Having a coach that listens and adjusts around it rather than expecting me to fit the plan. Not to mention the fact that my coach is also my biggest cheerleader. The result is that I’ve run consistently for weeks and I’m building mileage and most importantly… enjoying it!” – Jess

ABOUT

ABOUT

I never set out to be a runner. I played at one of the UK’s top basketball academies, and when that came to an end I started running to keep fit and hold onto some of the structure I was used to.

My debut marathon was 2:58. Four months later I ran 2:36. That was the jump that made me want to see how far I could take it.

5K 15:10 | 10K 32:51 | HM 1:12:43 | Marathon 2:31:41

I’ve made just about every mistake going: plans built for someone else, chasing the sessions that looked hardest online, judging every week by the numbers. Most runners I speak to are doing the same. It’s rarely a lack of effort, just effort spent in the wrong places.

The runners who get where they want to go aren’t always the most talented. They’re the ones who do the right things consistently. My job is to keep you doing exactly that.
